14x14’ walnut room divide and painted kitchen cabinets with antique glaze finish.
This project taught us what it's like to work in the “Big City”. All the cabinetry and built-ins had to fit in a very small elevator, which proved difficult due to the clients wanting the cabinetry to run from the floor to a ceiling height of 14’. Most of the work was built assembled finished then disassembled to fit the move to the 8th floor of the building.
The walnut room divide was partially assembled out the window on the 8th floor. The cabinet face below the walnut room divide housed 6’ deep drawers to hold chairs for the slide out dining table with a drop leg. This massive cabinet created the floor of the bedroom behind the walnut room divide.
